YWCA Greater Austin

YWCA's mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families and strengthen communities. We do this by focusing on the health and safety of women and girls, the empowerment and economic advancement or women, and racial justice and civil rights. This is accomplished through our YW Counseling and Referral Center which offers individual, couple, family and group counseling, our GenYW program which works to empower middle and high school students through life skills programs, and our training institute which offers professional and personal development workshops, as well as our monthly dialogues on issues of racism and discrimination.
