Texas System of Care Consortium- Texas Family Voice Network
The goal in Texas is to use system of care statewide as an approach to plan and deliver services and supports to children and youth with serious mental health concerns, as well as their families. The 83rd regular legislative session established the Texas System of Care Consortium to help improve the coordination of state services for children. The Consortium is composed of stakeholders and community leaders to further our Mission: To strengthen the collaboration of state and local efforts to weave mental health supports and services into seamless systems of care for children, youth and their families. The family subcommittee of the Texas System of Care Consortium, Texas Family Voice Network, brings together the state’s family voice leaders to support this mission through increased family voice to inform policy and practice, including evidence-based, trauma-informed best practices for children’s mental wellness in Texas.
