Seedling Foundation supports children challenged by parental incarceration or deportation through innovative, research driven, school-based mentoring. Each volunteer mentor is screened and trained and meets with his/her matched student weekly at lunchtime for a one-to-one visit. The focus of the visit is relationship-based and child-centered. The overarching goal of the program is build resiliency.
