Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County
Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County (BHCNC) is a Joint Commission accredited Community Health Center which functions as the Local Mental Health Authority and the Local Intellectual Development Disability Authority for Nueces County. The population for the Center's service area is approximately 350,000 persons. Each year BHCNC serves over 10,000 individuals with mental illness/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
