Austin Shelter for Women and Children

The Austin Shelter for Women and Children serves homeless adult women and/or homeless adult women and their dependent children age 17 or younger. The Austin Shelter for Women and Children is a comprehensive program that includes 24 hour emergency shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness, on-site services and linkage to long-term housing and case-management resources. The Salvation Army's goal as operator of the program is to provide wrap-around services designed to assist women in attaining and maintaining self-sufficiency.
