Developing trauma-informed systems of care within an organization can be quite challenging to undertake for any professional or organization. Seanna Crosbie, LCSW, will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to start the process of transforming their agency to a trauma-informed system. Ms. Crosbie will explore the benefits and barriers to becoming trauma-informed, and include real-life examples of her experience leading an organization through this process. This workshop will explore: the six values of trauma-informed systems of care, how to provide universal screenings & evaluation, gaining interest & support from key stakeholders, and how to identify & implement organizational assessment tools.
